Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, crossing the Rwanda-Uganda border at Gatuna/Katuna. The journey showcases Rwanda’s rolling hills and Uganda’s lush countryside, with a brief stop in Kabale town for refreshments.

Upon arrival at your lodge near Bwindi, check in and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, opt for a cultural walk to meet the Batwa Pygmies, learning about their forest traditions. After dinner, receive a briefing on the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a trekking briefing. Embark on your gorilla trek, hiking through dense forest to find a habituated gorilla family. Spend one unforgettable hour observing these majestic creatures before returning to the lodge for lunch.

Later, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s deepest lake, and check in at a lakeside lodge.
