Day 1

Depending on your location in Zanzibar, a driver will pick you up at **5:00 AM** and transfer you to **Abeid Amani Karume International Airport**. You’ll arrive in **Arusha at 9:20 AM**, where your professional guide will be waiting to greet you and brief you on your safari adventure.

After the briefing, embark on a **2-hour drive** to **Tarangire National Park**, passing stunning landscapes of grasslands, ancient **baobab trees**, Maasai huts, and livestock herded by **nomadic Maasai**.

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. The crater's unique ecosystem also hosts a rich variety of wildlife, including hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and an abundance of birdlife. With its breathtaking landscapes and dense animal population, the crater offers an unforgettable safari experience. You’ll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at one of the designated scenic spots inside the crater, taking in the views while surrounded by nature. After lunch, continue your game drive as you ascend the crater rim, with more opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. In the late afternoon, you’ll travel to the vibrant town of Karatu, set on the edge of the highlands. Here, you’ll check in at the charming Farm of Dreams Lodge, where a warm dinner and a peaceful overnight stay in a lush garden setting await you.

Day 5

Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park

In the morning, your personal safari guide will pick you up from the lodge and you’ll head toward Lake Manyara National Park, traveling along a scenic tarmac road that winds through the Maasai plains, dotted with traditional homesteads and graceful acacia trees. From the open roof of your custom safari jeep, you’ll enjoy panoramic views and have excellent chances to spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, along with over 400 species of birds, including flamingos, pelicans, and hornbills. The park is also home to zebras, wildebeests, elephants, buffalos, baboons, and giraffes, making it a vibrant final stop on your Northern Tanzania safari. After the game drive, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in time for your transfer to the airport. From there, you'll catch your flight back to Zanzibar.
