Nairobi to Masai Mara

After an early breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi at 7:00 am, you will be picked up and depart for Masai Mara, traveling through the Great African Rift Valley escarpment. You will have a stop at the Viewing Point to take in the breathtaking views before proceeding through Narok, a Masai town. Arriving at the Mara gate at 11:30 am, you will collect your packed lunch boxes and proceed on a game drive in search of the reserve’s renowned wildlife. This includes the Big Five, which are the Elephant, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo, and Lion, as well as predators such as cheetahs, hyenas, and wild dogs. You will also encounter herbivores like zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hippos, along with the formidable crocodiles. A visit to the Mara River will allow you to witness the migration point, where wildebeests cross from Serengeti to Masai Mara. After lunch at the migration point, the game drive will continue until sunset. You will then drive back to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Full-Day Safari

Early morning breakfast, then depart at 6:30 am for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch or opt for a hot air balloon safari, which takes off at 6:00 am. After the balloon ride, enjoy a bush champagne breakfast before continuing the game drive. Explore Masai Mara in search of the Big Five, including elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and lion, as well as predators like cheetahs, hyenas, and wild dogs. Observe zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles at the Mara River, where the dramatic wildebeest migration occurs. After lunch at the migration point, continue your game drive until sunset, then return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay. The hot air balloon experience is optional for an extra cost.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, you will visit a Masai Village to experience their culture, traditions, and way of life. You will then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch with a game drive en route. Lake Nakuru is home to a variety of wildlife, including leopards, which are frequently sighted in the park. After lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive to search for the two species of rhino found in the park. Lake Nakuru is also known for its rich birdlife, including thousands of flamingos.
