This trip will start at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport, where you will meet with our Guide and takes you to your reserved hotel in Bujumbura city. You will have enough time to break and prepare the next day after being given a pre-briefing of the tour.

The second day of the tour, we will do Bujumbura city where we will try to explore at Lake Tanganyika, city market to experience some Burundian' s people dailylife, visit Living Museum, getting history of two international famous explorers (Livingston and Stanley) from their Monument where they met. Afternoon we will heading to Gitega (the polical capital of Burundi) to explore the King's palace and entertain the culture at Gishora drummer sanctuary.

Karera waterfalls, Source of Nile and be transferred to Tanzania

On this day, we will wake up in morning to leave the hotel at 6 a.m. and drive to Karera waterfalls in Rutana province to experience that sacred and amazing place known for long time by people from different corners of the country who used to come there for their ritual activities. We will proceed with visiting the southern source of the longest River in world (Nile) located in Bururi province. During afternoon we will be about crossing border to Tanzania to stay in Kigoma city.

Day 4

Take this day as best unforgettable moments in your life; it is an activity starts at Kigoma Port, you will embark in boat at 8 a.m. for boat cruise around an hour before reaching at Park Reception located on shore of lake Tanganyika. After disembarking, accompanied by a Park Guide you will start hiking for tracking Chimpanzees. In your trail you will find many baboons everywhere especially on beach and around Park Reception.

In morning of this day, we will leave the hotel after breakfast at 7.a.m to cross border for returning to Bururi. In our way we will pass at Mugara hot spring to experience that natural hot water which is medicine for some disease. We will continue to Rumonge center to experience fishing (the main activity which generates more income in that city).

On this last day, you have to organize your luggage and leave the hotel on time regarding to your departure time. Note that we drive around 2 hours from Rumonge to the Airport. We will say to you Good bye after taking you there.
