Day 1

Pickup and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

On this day, the company driver guide will pick you from the hotel in Entebbe or Kampala at 7:30am after having your breakfast. He will give you a briefing about this trip and then you will embark on your journey to Bwindi Forest NP. Prepare for this long journey of about 9 hours but it will be very interesting with stopovers. You will also be able to observe the different landscapes along your journey. You will have an en-route lunch meal. On your arrival in the evening, you will check in to your lodge for refreshment and dinner.

Day 2

Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

On this day, you will have breakfast very early in the morning and guide with pick you up from the lodge and take you to the briefing point/ park offices where you will be guided on what is involved during the gorilla trekking activity. Then you will be divided into different groups and distributed to different gorilla families for trekking. You will head out into the forest in search for these majestic giant apes, on encounter with the gorillas, you will be given only one hour with these creatures to take pictures and videos then you will return to the starting point where your driver guide will be waiting. You will have lunch then head to Queen Elizabeth NP. You will have a short game drive as you are heading to your reserved lodge for checkin and overnight stay.

Day 3

Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

You will have breakfast early in the morning, then you will go for a game drive where you will get chance to spot various animals like the giraffes, elephants, lions, kobs, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalos, among others. These animals are widely spread all over the Savannah grasslands, grazing or hunting prey.

After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch and have some rest. Late in the afternoon you will head for the boat trip along the Kazinga Chanel. You will be able to spot some hippos, crocodiles, among others. Then you will return to the accommodation for rest as you wait for dinner.

Day 4

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Early morning after your breakfast, you will check out and embark on your journey to Kibale forest national park. You will have a drive through Ishasha sector on your way where you will have chance to spot tree climbing lions and then proceed with your journey. On arrival, you will visit the Bigodi community and have a Bigodi swamp walk experience then checkin to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast, you will head to the park offices for briefing about the chimpanzee tracking activity. Here you will be given guidelines to follow during this activity then you will be distributed in different groups and go into the forest to look for these apes. Along your journey you will be able to encounter other creatures like birds, monkeys, among others. Later on after the tracking activity, you will embark on your journey to Murchison Falls NP. You will have an en-route lunch meal. On your arrival, you will visit the top of the falls the go and check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6

Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Game Drive and Boat Cruise

After breakfast in the morning, you will go for a game drive to the northern bank in search of animals like lions, giraffes, oribis, elephants, Jackson’s hartebeests, Uganda kobs, and buffaloes among other animals and bird species. You will then return to the lodge in time for lunch and relax preparing for yet an exciting activity in the afternoon. After lunch, transfer for a 3-hour boat ride on the Nile River to the bottom of the falls. Here you will have the opportunity to view animals such as crocodiles, and hippos, in the water and some on the river banks. Buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants are often seen on the river bank grazing and drinking water. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7

Transfer to Airport via Ziwa Rhino Ranch

In the morning after breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge and go for a game drive as you are exiting the park. You will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Ranch. This ranch is a home to many rhinos in Uganda and you will have a guided walk with a ranger through this ranch and you will have chance to get closer to these majestic animals. Then you will come back for lunch and proceed with your journey to the airport to catch your flight, you will have a city tour in Kampala if time allows.
