Nairobi / Maasai Mara National Reserve

Pickup from the airport or your hotel and travel towards the fertile highlands of Kenya leading down via the Great Rift Valley escarpment, on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War 11. Have a glimpse for the attractive chapel they built at the foot of the escarpment. Pass via the magnificent Longonot earth satellite station as you proceed across the Valley to Narok. Experiencing breathtaking views of the world’s greatest land rift and move across acres of barley and wheat, before you reach the Maasai Mara in time for Lunch.

An afternoon game drive within the reserve as you will also appreciate its high animal concentration and abundance black maned lions, herds of Topi roan antelope, cheetah, common zebra, coke’s hartebeest though luck essential for spotting leopard and rhino. Returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

A very early morning game drive in the Masai Mara – the ideal time to see game as temperatures are cooler and hopefully lion, cheetah and leopard will be roaming the vast grasslands in search of prey. Return to the lodge/camp for breakfast. The rest of the morning at leisure or partake in optional activities, a visit to Masai village to see their nomadic life this at extra cost. After lunch at the lodge, there is a chance to relax by the swimming pool before going for your game drive. Return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
