Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the national park headquarters to meet your ranger guides and complete the necessary formalities. Then, embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure—tracking the rare mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Trekking through the lush montane forest on the Virunga slopes, you’ll follow signs of these incredible primates.

Once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing their behaviors up close, just meters away. Lock eyes with these magnificent creatures, feeling an indescribable connection. With fewer than 700 remaining, encountering them in the wild is one of the most breathtaking wildlife experiences on Earth. The trek can be strenuous, lasting up to six hours or more at high altitudes, but the reward of standing in the presence of these gentle giants makes every step worth it.
