Without delay, your adventure begins as you embark on a scenic drive toward Southern Serengeti, specifically the Ndutu area, a prime location for witnessing the Great Migration calving season. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking landscapes and may spot various wildlife roaming the open plains.

Upon reaching Ndutu, you will spend the late hours exploring its rich ecosystem, home to vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes, as well as predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas lurking nearby. The area’s short grass plains provide an excellent opportunity for close-up wildlife viewing and photography.

Fully day southern serengeti- Ndutu

On this day, you will embark on an exciting full-day game drive in the Ndutu area, a prime location in Southern Serengeti and part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Known for its role in the Great Migration calving season, Ndutu’s nutrient-rich grasslands attract hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, making it an unforgettable wildlife spectacle.

As you explore the vast plains, you will witness newborn wildebeest calves taking their first steps, while predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and leopards seize the opportunity to hunt. The Ndutu region is also home to majestic elephants, giraffes, and a variety of bird species, offering diverse sightings throughout the day.

Your safari guide will navigate through different terrains, from open plains to acacia woodlands and seasonal lakes, ensuring the best possible wildlife encounters. After an adventurous day in the wild, you will return to your Camp for dinner and overnight.

On this day, after breakfast, you will enjoy a final game drive en route as you make your way back to Arusha. This last safari experience offers a chance to spot any remaining wildlife and take in the breathtaking Serengeti landscapes one last time. Along the journey, you may encounter grazing antelopes, elephants, giraffes, or even a final glimpse of the predators that roam these vast plains.

As you leave the Ndutu area and Southern Serengeti, you will drive through the scenic countryside, reflecting on the incredible wildlife encounters and unforgettable moments from your safari adventure. Upon arrival in Arusha, your guide will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight to your next destination.
