Day 2

After an early breakfast, you'll begin your journey to Maasai Mara, one of Kenya’s most renowned wildlife reserves. The drive takes you through beautiful landscapes and local villages, providing a glimpse into rural Kenya.
Upon arrival, check in to your safari lodge and enjoy a refreshing lunch.

Wake up early to the sounds of the African wilderness and enjoy a hearty breakfast at your lodge. Your day begins with an early morning game drive, when the animals are most active. The cool morning light offers the perfect conditions for spotting wildlife, including predators on the hunt.
Return to your lodge for a mid-morning break and a delicious brunch.
In the afternoon, head out for a second game drive to explore a different section of the Maasai Mara Reserve. You’ll have the chance to witness more of the incredible wildlife that calls the Mara home, such as herds of wildebeest, gazelles, and possibly even a cheetah chase or a lion sighting.

After an early breakfast, you’ll check out from your Maasai Mara lodge and embark on a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its stunning birdlife and diverse wildlife. The drive will take you through picturesque landscapes, with a chance to enjoy the rural beauty of Kenya along the way.

Upon arrival in Lake Nakuru, check in to your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is known for its massive flocks of flamingos (seasonal), as well as rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and many other animals. You’ll have the chance to see the famous red elephants, along with lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. After the game drive, return to your lodge for brunch, check out, and begin your journey back to Nairobi. The drive from Tsavo East to Nairobi typically takes about 4-5 hours, so you’ll have some scenic views along the way.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you can either head straight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your return journey or spend some time in Nairobi for last-minute shopping or sightseeing.
