Your driver-guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Entebbe and drive you to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino tracking experience. This session lasts about an hour, and you will have the chance to see rhinos in the wild. After the tracking experience, you’ll continue your journey and stop in Masindi for lunch. The drive to Murchison Falls takes you through scenic landscapes, and you’ll arrive in time to check into your accommodation, Pakuba Safari Lodge, where you can relax for the evening.

Day 2

After breakfast, you'll head out for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Murchison Falls National Park. During the drive, you’ll have the chance to spot lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffaloes, and elephants. Birders will also be pleased to spot species like the secretary bird and black-chested snake eagle. After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat trip on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and several water birds. If you're up for it, you can also take a hike to the top of the falls for an incredible view of the cascading water.

Day 3

Today, you’ll take part in a chimpanzee habituation experience in Kibale Forest. This activity allows you to accompany researchers as they work to habituate wild chimpanzees to human presence. You'll spend the day in the forest with these fascinating primates, observing their behavior, including nesting, de-nesting, and feeding. After the habituation experience, you’ll return to your accommodation for relaxation with beautiful views of Kibale’s lush forest.

After breakfast, you’ll continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is known for its diverse ecosystems, which support a variety of wildlife, including ten primate species and more than 600 bird species. After arriving at the park and checking into your accommodation, Elephant Hab Lodge, you’ll have some time to rest and enjoy lunch. Later, you’ll embark on an afternoon wildlife viewing safari where you might see bushbucks, waterbucks, buffaloes, and other animals in the park.

You'll begin the day early with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you can see lions, elephants, bushbucks, and other wildlife. After the drive, you’ll return to your lodge for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, you’ll take a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, where you can see large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species along the water. This is an excellent opportunity for bird watching and wildlife photography.

After breakfast, you'll set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, with a stop at the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is famous for its tree-climbing lions, and while they are not always easy to spot, there's a good chance of seeing them perched in the trees. After enjoying the wildlife viewing, you’ll continue your journey to Bwindi, where you’ll check into Rushaga Gorilla Lodge and have some time to relax before the exciting gorilla trekking experience tomorrow.

This is the day for your highly anticipated gorilla trekking adventure. After breakfast, you'll have a briefing with a ranger guide before heading into the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas that call Bwindi home. The trek can be challenging, but the reward is incredible as you spend time with these magnificent creatures. After the trek, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the day, you’ll visit the Batwa People, one of Uganda’s indigenous communities, for a cultural experience. You'll learn about their traditional way of life and have the chance to interact with the local community.

This is a perfect place to unwind after an active few days of trekking and wildlife viewing.

After breakfast, you'll begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way, you’ll stop in Kabale town before continuing to Lake Mburo. This park is the only place in southern Uganda where you can see zebras, and its home to a variety of other animals including impalas, giraffes, and buffaloes. You’ll also visit the Igongo Cultural Center on your way to Lake Mburo, where you’ll learn more about the history and culture of the area. After arriving at Lake Mburo, you’ll check into Rwakobo Rock Lodge and have some time to relax.

Start your day with an early morning guided nature walk within Lake Mburo National Park. This walk offers a chance to see animals up close, including zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. You'll also likely spot hyenas and hippos returning to the lake after a night of grazing. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, offering a chance to see more wildlife such as crocodiles and hippos along the shoreline. The boat trip provides a unique perspective of the park’s landscape and wildlife.

Day 12

On your final day, you'll go on one last early morning nature walk before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Afterward, you’ll begin your journey back to Entebbe, passing through the equator and stopping for photos and souvenirs at the craft shops. You’ll have a quick lunch along the way before continuing to Entebbe International Airport for your departure.
