Day 1
Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park
Mombasa - Tsavo East National Park
Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park (180 KMS – Approx. 3 hours)
Meal Plan: Lunch Dinner.
The safari begins with a pickup at your beach hotel or resort or at the airport upon arrival. We’ll take the scenic Mombasa – Nairobi Highway, viewing farmlands and Kenya countryside along the way. Tsavo East National Park is a superb place to watch wildlife. It’s a vast, semi-arid wilderness populated by elephants, sometimes in large herds and caked in the red Tsavo dust, and unique maneless lions. Tsavo’s wild and sunlit plains host other highlights, from cheetahs on the hunt to gerenuk and Somali ostrich, which you can rarely see elsewhere this far south. And if you range beyond the main track through the park, it can feel like a real adventure. Arriving on time for check in refreshment, lunch then, evening game drive at Tsavo National.
Your experienced safari driver/ guide shall guide you through the national park tracks and later drop you off at your safari lodge or tented camp for overnight.

Tsavo East - Amboseli NAtional Park
Tsavo East - Amboseli NAtional Park
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
We will arise early on our first safari morning to take full advantage of the dawning light and emerging animal life. We will enjoy breakfast and then a quick game drive as we exit Tsavo East. We’re now bound for Amboseli National Park.
We will stop for some breaks on our trek to this very popular park. The imposing form of Mt Kilimanjaro will be our beacon guiding us to the park entrance. Arriving, we’ll freshen up, enjoy our lunch refreshment before embarking on our first game drive at the foot of the iconic mount Kilimanjaro. Africa's highest peak, Amboseli is the Kenya's most popular parks.
Compared to Tsavo East, Amboseli is small and its compact size has the advantage of affording us more opportunities to see the big game. However, you can’t miss the elephants at this reserve. They are in such abundance you’re guaranteed sightings!
And get your “Big Five” checklist out – if you missed any of them at Tsavo East, you just may spot them here.

Amboseli National Park - Drop off Mombasa
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch
It’s an early rise again, and hopefully, the clouds will break at the peak of Kilimanjaro, revealing its snowy crown. Dining at your camp or lodge before a delicious safari breakfast, you can take in the splendor of Africa’s largest peak overlooking the park.
We’ll enjoy one final game drive in Amboseli again looking for the big game and the smaller forms of hyena, fox, monkey and baboon. The park is a virtual city of wildlife. You will be dropped back to Mombasa or at your preferred point.
But now we’re off, heading back to the Kenya coast.
