After a hearty breakfast at your lodge, you will begin your journey to Central Serengeti (approximately 4.5 hours’ drive, 290 km). After a delightful breakfast in the Northern Serengeti, you will embark on a full-day game drive, heading southward toward the Central Serengeti. The Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, home to an impressive concentration of wildlife, including the “Big Five” – lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffaloes.
Enjoy a morning game drive in the Crater, where you’ll encounter herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes, along with the incredible birdlife that inhabits this lush volcanic caldera. After the game drive, you will head back to Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport (approximately 4 hours drive, 200 km) for your onward departure.
