Central Serengeti is particularly renowned for being a prime location to witness the Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores move through the area in search of fresh grazing grounds. The expansive savannah is dotted with scattered acacia trees, creating a picturesque backdrop for game drives. Between July and October, thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles courageously navigate the river, facing perilous challenges as they avoid the lurking crocodiles and hippos. The Northern Serengeti is less frequented by tourists compared to the southern and central parts of the park, making it a more remote and tranquil destination.
