Day 1

The trip departs from Windhoek in the morning soon after your early break fast, heading north towards Okahandja. We will make a stop at the local craft market, where you can explore and purchase a variety of handmade Namibian crafts, from intricate jewelry and carvings to colorful textiles. After spending some time at the market, we will continue our journey towards Mushara Lodge, located just outside Etosha National Park. Along the way, we stop for a light lunch at a local restaurant or a scenic spot. After arrival and check at the lodge if time permits we can do the sunset game drive or explore the surrounding of the lodge winding up the day. The evening will be spent relaxing and enjoying a delicious dinner at the lodge, perfect for unwinding after a day of travel.

Day 2

Work up in the morning refresh and have our early morning delicious breakfast at the lodge before heading out to explore the eastern part of Etosha National Park. Your guide will take you on a scenic drive, stopping at key waterholes where wildlife often gathers, offering excellent opportunities for game viewing. You may spot herds of elephants, zebras, springboks, and even predators like lions or cheetahs in this wildlife-rich area. After an exciting morning of exploration, we'll return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax. The afternoon will be spent continuing our safari, visiting more waterholes and exploring the unique landscapes of the park, including the vast salt pans.

Day 3
Transfer to the Okaukuejo Western side of the park
Transfer to the Okaukuejo Western side of the park
This day we begin our journey westward, leaving the eastern section of Etosha National Park behind. As we drive through the park, we’ll have the opportunity to spot more wildlife along the way, including herds of wildebeests, giraffes, and various antelope species. Your guide will share insights into the park's diverse ecosystems and wildlife as you make your way to Okaukejo. We'll stop for a lunch break at Halali and have time to stretch our legs. We'll spend some time at the Halali waterhole before commencing our journey to Okaukuejo. We'll arrive in Okaukuejo in the afternoon, where we will spend some time exploring the viewing tower and the waterhole before we make our way to our accommodation, which is only a few km outside of the park.

Day 4

As we explore the weatsern side of the park our full we will take a drive along the vast salt pan, a favourite spot for large prides of lions. Etosha is also known for its diverse bird population. Birdwatchers will find the rainy season in Etosha especially rewarding. After good rains, the salt pans fill with water, creating a stunning spectacle as flocks of flamingos flock to the area. With over 340 bird species recorded in the park, Etosha is a haven for birding enthusiasts. Among the most sought-after migratory species is the European bee-eater, a vibrant and colorful sight. The park is also home to some impressive giants, including the world’s largest bird, the ostrich, and the heaviest flying bird, the kori bustard.

Day 5
Etosha To Windhoek
Etosha To Windhoek
This day we will depart Etosha Safari lodge and head down to Windhoek after breakfast at 8am. We will have a short lunch along the way and can take up to 6 hours.
