Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will meet you and assist with your luggage. You will begin your journey by transferring directly to Kalinzu Forest (approximately 5-6 hours by road). Kalinzu Forest is home to over 300 chimpanzees, and the journey offers a chance to enjoy scenic views of Uganda’s lush countryside.
Once you arrive, check into your accommodation near Kalinzu Forest. Dinner will be served at your lodge, and you’ll have the evening to relax and prepare for the trek the next day.

Day 2
Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, you’ll head into Kalinzu Forest for your chimpanzee trekking adventure. With the help of an expert guide, you’ll track the chimpanzees through the forest, which is also home to other primates like baboons and monkeys. The trek typically lasts 2-4 hours, and once you find the chimpanzees, you’ll spend some time observing them in their natural habitat. After the trek, you’ll return to your lodge for lunch. Then, you’ll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approximately 2-3 hours). Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth, check into your accommodation, and after a short break, you’ll head out for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. This waterway is known for its abundant wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
After the cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you’ll head out for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and antelopes. Your guide will help you spot these incredible animals while providing insights into the ecosystem. After the game drive, you’ll return to your lodge for lunch or enjoy a packed picnic. In the afternoon, you’ll begin your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (approximately 3-4 hours). Upon arrival, check into your accommodation, and have the evening to relax. Dinner will be served at your lodge, and you can unwind before your gorilla trek the next day.

Day 4

On Day 4, after an early breakfast, you’ll head to the Gorilla Trekking briefing point. The trek through the dense rainforest to find the endangered mountain gorillas typically lasts between 1 to 4 hours, depending on where the gorillas are located. Once you encounter them, you’ll have one hour to observe these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (approximately 2-3 hours by road). Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and enjoy the serene beauty of the lake.
Dinner will be served at your lodge, and you can relax for the evening.

On thIS day of your safari, after breakfast, you’ll begin your drive back to Kampala. On the way, you’ll stop at the iconic Uganda Equator for a photo opportunity and to learn about the significance of this geographical landmark, which marks the point where the Northern and Southern Hemispheres meet. You’ll have a chance to shop for souvenirs or simply take in the beauty of this unique spot. A packed lunch will be provided enroute, and you’ll continue your drive back to Kampala. You will arrive in the late afternoon, and depending on your schedule, you may have some time to explore the Kampala city.

You’ll also visit the impressive Bahá'í House of Worship, a symbol of peace and unity. Afterward, you'll transfer to Entebbe Airport for your departure, reflecting on the incredible experiences you've had throughout your safari.
