After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying approximately three hours of wildlife viewing along the way. This remarkable ecosystem is home to diverse East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino, which you may be fortunate to spot. Spanning 260 square kilometers with a diameter of about 20 kilometers, the crater takes around 5 hours to explore fully. Then you will drive back to Karatu to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Upon arrival, begin with a guided hike through the verdant rainforest to the stunning Materuni Waterfall, which plunges nearly 90 meters into a natural pool below. Along the way, your local guide will introduce you to the region's flora, fauna, and traditional uses of medicinal plants. If you like, you can even take a refreshing dip in the waterfall’s pool.
