After breakfast, head to Arusha National Park, a lush and scenic gem just a short drive from town. Begin with a guided walking safari—a unique opportunity to explore the African bush on foot with a ranger, spotting giraffes, zebras, colobus monkeys, and learning about medicinal plants and animal tracks.
In the afternoon, enjoy a classic game drive through the park’s varied ecosystems: forests, lakes, and the open plains near Mount Meru.

On your final day, enjoy a relaxing game drive in Makuyuni Wildlife Park, located along the Tarangire–Manyara corridor. This lesser-known reserve offers a more private wildlife experience with excellent birding and sightings of oryx, giraffes, elephants, and even wild dogs. Take in the scenic hills and rolling plains before returning to Arusha in the afternoon.
