Nairobi to Maasai Mara

We will pick you from your hotel of stay in Nairobi or JKIA at 7am and depart to Maasai Mara. We will travel southwards via the Rift Valley view point, admire the escarpment, get the history there and proceed to Narok, a small Maasai town which is known for its beautiful curios. You will arrive in Maasai Mara in time for lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge followed by afternoon game drive in the park, after which we will get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Full-day Game Drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, you will set out for the reserve for a full-day game drive. Being the main highlight of your safari, this day is spent looking for the Big Five wildlife; lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards and African buffaloes. We suggest you have your camera in handy to capture the exciting sightings while on this expedition. You will also see other wildlife from waterbucks, giraffes, wildebeests, cheetahs, a lot of bird species, and many more. At lunchtime, your guide will drive to a safe area where he will set up a picnic lunch for you to enjoy.
Return to the lodge in the evening with lasting memories of your day. Take some time to unwind and refresh before dinner.

Departure from the Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will have the option to visit a Masai village for a cultural experience (approximately US $10—US $20 per person). Check out and depart for Nairobi stopping enroute for lunch. Arrival in Nairobi will be in the late afternoon and you will be dropped off at you hotel within the city. This will mark the end of the tour.
