Your adventure begins early in the morning at 06:00 hrs, with a pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Arusha town. Your professional driver-guide will collect picnic lunch boxes and set off on a scenic 190 km drive along a paved road to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area,

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unbroken caldera, and its 600-meter-deep walls enclose an abundant and diverse ecosystem teeming with wildlife. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spot all of Africa’s Big Five—lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo—as well as wildebeest, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and many more species.

The crater is also a haven for bird lovers, with flocks of flamingos on the soda lake, and other species such as geese, storks, vultures, and a wide variety of other birds.

At around 15:00 hrs, begin your ascent back to the crater rim and return journey to Arusha. You’ll arrive back at your hotel by early evening, concluding a truly unforgettable day in the wild.
