Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP

In the morning at 7am our guide will be at your lodge for pick up and begin your journey with an early morning departure from Kampala. On your drive to Bwindi, you will enjoy scenic views of Uganda's countryside, including a stop at the Equator for photos, a brief experiment and bathroom breaks.

You will have lunch en route, often in Mbarara or another town along the way depending on how you feel.

On arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in the late afternoon or evening, you check-in for dinner and overnight stay.

Gorilla Habituation Experience

You will start early with breakfast at 6am and head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla habituation etiquette, vital to the experience about the dos and don'ts while in the forest with the amazing Gorillas.
After an introduction to your park guides who will be your eyes and ears in the forest, you join researchers, trackers, and rangers to observe and interact with a semi-habituated gorilla family for up to four hours, and interact with the gorillas, helping them adapt to human observation. It's an incredible opportunity to learn about gorilla behavior, their social dynamics, and conservation efforts.
After the experience, you return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

On arrival in the evening at your lodge, marking the end of your safari and we hope to see you again for another adventure as Uganda has a lot to offer.
