Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your driver / guide will pick you up at your hotel in Arusha in the morning and drive to the entrance of Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival, you'll begin your mid-morning game drive through the vast savannahs and ancient baobab-dotted landscapes of Tarangire. This park is famous for its huge herds of elephants, as well as a rich variety of wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species.

At midday, you’ll stop at a picnic site inside the park for lunch while enjoying views of the surrounding wilderness.

After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring different areas of the park and following the Tarangire River, which draws many animals—especially during the dry season.

In the late afternoon, you'll exit the park and drive to your lodge or campsite near Lake Manyara or Karatu, where you’ll relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day’s journey to Ngorongoro.
