Day 1
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel by your professional safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. Established in 1970 from what was once a colonial hunting ground, Tarangire is now one of Tanzania’s hidden gems—spanning an area roughly the size of Luxembourg.
The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, among the biggest in northern Tanzania, and a rich variety of other wildlife including zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, and, with a bit of luck, predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
The landscape is a striking mix of savannah, seasonal swamps, and iconic baobab trees, particularly dense in the park’s northeastern region, creating an unforgettable backdrop for your game drive.
After a full day of wildlife viewing, you’ll settle in for the night at a campsite inside the park, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park- Ngorongoro Crater
Tarangire National Park- Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast our drive to the Ngorongoro crater starts. We pass the small town of Mto wa Mbu and soon we will see Lake Manyara. Behind the small town Karatu, the drive will take you up the steep slopes of the East African Rift Valley into the highlands of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Afterwards it goes on partly adventurous roads about 600 meters downward into the crater. The crater has a diameter of 17-21 kilometers and is the home of a great animal world. Nearly all the biodiversity of the East African savannah has gathered here, only giraffes and a few other animal species for which the rock faces are too steep do not live in the crater.
Depending on the season, 15,000 to 25,000 animals are gathering here, thereof more than two thirds buffaloes, gnus, zebras and gazelles. This large number of grazers also explains why in the crater the largest density of predators in Africa can be found. Beside other predators more than 100 lions live here in several prides.

Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha
After breakfast, you’ll set off toward Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is named after its shallow, alkaline lake, which draws large colonies of waterbirds and provides a spectacular setting for game viewing.
Among the highlights are the striking pink flamingos, which blanket the shores in vibrant color, as well as an array of other birdlife including cormorants, pelicans, and storks. In total, over 400 bird species have been recorded in the park, making it a paradise for bird watchers.
Lake Manyara is also famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, typically found in the central, open plains of the park. As you explore on your game drive, you’re also likely to encounter elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos,
In the late afternoon, after an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing, you’ll begin your drive back to Arusha, carrying wonderful memories and photos from your safari adventure.
