As we begin our hike, you’ll be greeted by the lush rainforest that covers the lower slopes of the mountain. The trail winds through towering trees, where you may catch glimpses of unique wildlife such as monkeys, colorful birds, and other local species
Our day hike typically reaches the Mandara Hut — offering a taste of the higher altitudes and views across the mountain. At the end of the day, we’ll descend back to the base, where our vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Arusha.
