Formed from a collapsed volcano millions of years ago, this vast, unbroken caldera is a natural sanctuary, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife in a truly surreal setting. As you drive across the crater floor, you’ll encounter a rich variety of animals from elephants, zebras, and wildebeest to lions, hyenas, and the elusive black rhino.
Every turn offers a photo-worthy moment, with dramatic landscapes of open Savannah, sparkling lakes, and lush forests framed by towering crater walls. It’s one of the few places where you might spot all of the Big Five in a single day.
