Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from your hotel within Nairobi CBD around 7:30am. After a briefing and completing payments, you will join the rest of the group to start your safari at 8:30am, heading to the Maasai Mara. We will stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy scenic views of the valley. Later, we will continue our journey to Maasai Mara, where we will arrive in time for lunch at your camp and check in. You will have an afternoon evening game drive in the Maasai Mara National Park.

Your overnight stay will be at Lenchada Tourist Camp.

Full-day Maasai Mara Safari

Wake up at 6:30 AM and have breakfast before heading out for a full day of thrilling game drives, complete with a picnic lunch. The Maasai Mara is famous for its impressive wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo. However, spotting leopards and rhinos can be tricky as they tend to be shy and elusive. The park's incredible concentration of animals is truly remarkable!

Next, we'll visit the Mara River, a key location for the annual wildebeest migration. Lunch will be served here, but please be cautious of the monkeys—they’re known to snatch fruits from unsuspecting visitors.

While at the river, you’ll have the chance to explore the hippo pool, where crocodiles can often be seen basking on the rocks. The area is also home to a variety of plains game, such as antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, along with scavengers like hyenas and vultures. After lunch, we’ll continue our safari adventure, exploring more of the park before heading back to camp.

Maasai Mara and Return to Nairobi

After breakfast, you have the option to visit a Maasai village for a cultural experience (approximately US $10—US $20 per person).

Later, you will drive back to Nairobi, stopping for lunch along the way. You will arrive early evening and be dropped off at your hotel.
