After an early breakfast, depart for nearby Lake Nakuru National Park, a compact yet incredibly diverse reserve known for its birdlife and thriving rhino population. Arrive in time for a morning game drive along the lake’s shores, where you may spot flamingos, pelicans, and buffalo. Keep your eyes open for Rothschild’s giraffes and elusive leopards among the acacia trees.

Midday, check into your lodge inside or near the park and enjoy a hearty lunch followed by a bit of rest. In the afternoon, head back out for another game drive, this time with better chances of encountering black and white rhinos grazing in the open plains.
