Your safari adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading toward the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu for an enriching cultural experience. Explore this melting pot of over 120 tribes through a guided walking or bicycle tour, visiting local farms, banana plantations, and artisans. Savor a traditional picnic lunch prepared by a local family, offering an authentic taste of Tanzanian cuisine. After lunch, continue to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and lush groundwater forest, the park offers a scenic introduction to Tanzania’s diverse wildlife. Day 2

Arrive in Ndutu in the late afternoon, where the open plains are alive with migrating wildebeests, especially during the calving season. Day 3

Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of Ndutu, a prime location to witness the Great Migration in action. During the calving season (January to March), thousands of wildebeest give birth on these plains, drawing predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. With your expert guide, track the movement of the herds and enjoy extraordinary wildlife encounters in this dramatic setting. The area’s seasonal marshes and woodlands provide excellent photographic opportunities and moments of raw natural beauty. Return to your camp in the evening for a hearty dinner and a peaceful night under the stars.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the late afternoon, where you can unwind, soak in the views, and reflect on your migration experience.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Central Serengeti, catching any last glimpses of lions, elephants, giraffes, or leopards as they roam the savannah. After breakfast or brunch at camp, you’ll be transferred to the Seronera airstrip for your scenic flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to the airport or your preferred location in Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable 5-day Ndutu Migration Safari.
