Depart by mid-morning for a 5-hour drive back to Kigali, crossing the Cyanika border en route. Arrive in Kigali by mid-afternoon, and if time allows before your flight, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute to the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsis, to reflect on Rwanda’s journey of healing. Your guide will then drop you off at Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, or a hotel if extending your stay, leaving you with memories of Rwanda and Uganda’s primate wonders and lakeside serenity.
