Start your experience with a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River in Chobe National Park. It is one of the highlights of the trip as you have the opportunity to get up close and personal with fantastic birdlife, hippos, crocodiles and scores of elephants and Cape buffalo that make their way down to the river to quench their thirst. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the best restaurant in Kasane, and then return to the park on one of our customized 4x4 game viewers for an afternoon game drive. This is best time to see Chobe National park large herbivores making their way down to the river to drink. Head to camp shortly after sunset for dinner around the campfire, listen to the sounds of the bush around you slumber in your tent under the African sky.

Chobe National park highlights

Wake up at dawn with a friendly Botswana “dumela” (good day). After breakfast head off on an early morning game drive. This time of day is best for finding the big cats or wild dogs as they are still active at this time and the chances of seeing them are best. Return to the camp for delicious “bush brunch “ and opportunity to read, rest or take a refreshing shower. When the day start cool off another afternoon game drive follows yea, and good sightings are revisited or areas as yet unexplored are visited. Return to camp after sunset a reflective fireside chat, dinner follows as always accompanied by the unforgettable sounds of the African night.

End of tour
