Day 1

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and set off on a picturesque drive to Materuni Waterfalls. Once we arrive, you'll have the chance to explore the famous waterfalls and take in their stunning beauty. Afterward, a delicious local buffet lunch awaits, featuring traditional Chagga dishes that are sure to delight your taste buds.

Following lunch, you’ll get a glimpse into the rich history of the Chagga people, the indigenous community of the Kilimanjaro region. We’ll then take a one-hour drive to the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, a tranquil oasis where you can unwind and refresh for the rest of the day.

In the evening, around 4:40 PM, we'll head back to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

The park is famous for its stunning landscapes, featuring a vast soda lake that covers two-thirds of the area, bordered by the impressive Western Escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. This unique geography supports diverse habitats, from lush forests to open plains and wetlands, all rich in wildlife.

Keep an eye out for one of Africa's largest elephant populations roaming the acacia woodlands and the famous tree-climbing lions resting in the branches.
