Early in the morning, around 6:00 AM (exact pick-up time will depend on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), our driver will transfer you to the airport for your 8:00 AM flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at approximately 9:15 AM, you’ll be met by your driver-guide, who will take you on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park—about 2 hours from Arusha.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its incredible biodiversity, especially its large herds of elephants. The park features a mix of landscapes, from sweeping savannas to seasonal swamps, all centered around the life-giving Tarangire River. During your game drive, you might witness a lion stalking its prey or catch a glimpse of a leopard lounging in the treetops.

In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy your packed lunch inside the park, surrounded by nature. The game drive will wrap up around 4:00 PM, after which you'll head to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater and Flight back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast at 6:00 AM, you'll set off for Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Early departures offer the best light for photography and the highest chances of seeing wildlife at their most active.

Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. It’s home to around 30,000 large animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, and the rare black rhino. Birdlife is also abundant, with flamingos, eagles, buzzards, and many more species gracing the skies and lakeshores.

Your game drive will continue into the early afternoon before you’re transferred back to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 PM flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, your driver will be waiting to return you to your hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable adventure.
