Arusha Town to Lake Manyara National Park

Program: Early in the morning, your safari guide will pick you up from your lodge, hotel, or the nearest location to Arusha airport. You will then head to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive and a picnic lunch. Afterward, your guide will transfer you to your accommodation for the evening to relax.

Lake Manyara National Park spans around 330 sq km (127 sq miles), with up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) covered by Soda Lake during high water levels. The park is a prime birdwatching destination and offers a diverse ecosystem with wildlife like elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffaloes, and the famous tree-climbing lions. During the game drive, you'll also have the chance to stretch your legs and observe hippos at the hippo pool.

Program: Your safari will begin early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel, followed by a transfer to Tarangire National Park, where you’ll enjoy a full-day game drive with your lunch packed in the jeep.

On the final day of your safari, the day will start at 7:00 AM after a hearty breakfast. You will head to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third-largest national park, known for its iconic baobab trees that tower over the landscape, creating a breathtaking backdrop for wildlife. The Tarangire River runs through the park, attracting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and many more species. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location by 6:00 PM. This concludes your memorable safari experience with many incredible moments to cherish.
