Arusha Town to Lake Manyara National Park

Arusha Town to Lake Manyara National Park

Distance: 130 km

Upon arrival in Arusha, you will meet our experienced tour guide-driver, who will provide a brief overview of the safari itinerary. From there, we will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. We will arrive in time for a delicious lunch at the lodge. Afterward, we will embark on an exciting game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. This park, set at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment, is renowned for its unique location, with a vast, shallow soda lake covering two-thirds of the area.

The park’s diverse ecosystems attract a wide range of wildlife, including one of the largest elephant populations in Africa, the famous tree-climbing lions of Manyara, and large flocks of flamingos drawn to the algae-rich lake. You will enjoy dinner and overnight accommodations, tailored to your chosen lodging preference.

Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater

Distance: 60 km and 190 km

After breakfast, we will descend 600 meters into the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater for a morning half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most wildlife-dense regions in Africa, home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s rare black rhinos. With a consistent water supply and abundant vegetation, the park supports a diverse range of species, such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and the mighty African elephant.

The park is also known for its high concentration of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopards, which can be challenging to spot without a trained eye. A picnic lunch will be served within the crater, and afterward, we will return to Arusha to conclude our safari. You will be transferred to your hotel, marking the end of our safari services.
