Nairobi to masai mara national reserve

Our driver will pick you from the city center. Here, you will have the opportunity to stop by the supermarket to purchase snacks or anything else you may want for the journey. Following that, you’ll set off for one of the famous viewpoints in the Great Rift Valley. You will receive a brief overview of the Rift Valley's formation and an insight into Kenya's history. Next, you'll travel to Narok town for a warm lunch. After finishing your meal, you will continue for approximately 2.5 hours on a rugged road that offers a glimpse into the authentic Kenyan wilderness as you come across the Maasai and their villages along the route. Upon arriving in Masai Mara, you will check into the lodge for a two-night stay. After a bit of refreshment, you'll embark on a late afternoon game drive in the park. After discovering the park and, if fortune smiles upon you, catching sight of one or two of the Big Five, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight accommodation.

Masai Mara National Reserve

On this day, you will rise early at 6:30 am and then head to our dining area, where a buffet breakfast will be prepared by our chef. You will have 30 minutes to enjoy your breakfast, after which you will depart for a full day game drive with your packed picnic lunch. Our driver will open the pop-up roof so you can stand up and get a clear view of the wildlife during the drive. You will start seeing animals up close, and we recommend that our guests keep their cameras ready, as the wildlife is in its natural environment, and events can happen unexpectedly. Lunch will be provided at this location. You will be able to see the hippo pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, and Masai giraffes can be seen as well as scavengers like hyenas and vultures. After lunch, you will proceed for another afternoon game drive and return to the lodge at around 5:00 pm for dinner and your overnight stay.
