Your safari adventure begins with a warm meet and greet by the Sky Extra team in Nairobi. After a short briefing and ensuring all is set for your journey, you’ll depart the city in the early morning, heading towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy scenic views along the way as you travel through the Great Rift Valley, with optional stops at viewpoints for photo opportunities. Upon arrival at the park, you will check-in and have lunch and begin an exciting game drive. Lake Nakuru is home to a variety of wildlife including white rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and a vibrant population of birdlife. Though the iconic flamingo flocks have reduced due to rising water levels, the lake still offers a rich birdwatching experience. After exploring the park, you will proceed to your accommodation, followed by a relaxing dinner and your first overnight stay in the heart of the wild.

After checking out, you will begin your journey to Lake Naivasha with a stop at Hell’s Gate National Park en route. The park offers a unique opportunity to hike or cycle through dramatic gorges, towering cliffs, and geothermal landscapes all while spotting zebras, gazelles, and baboons along the way. The adventurous hike makes for a memorable and active experience within Kenya’s Great Rift Valley.

After your visit to Hell’s Gate, continue on to your accommodation in Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for a delicious hot lunch and some time to unwind. In the afternoon, set out on a peaceful boat ride across the lake, where you will have a chance to see hippos and a variety of birdlife in their natural habitat. The boat ride ends at the beautiful Crescent Island, where you'll enjoy a guided walking safari among free-roaming wildlife on this serene, predator-free sanctuary.

On the way, you will have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village, where you can learn about the customs, culture, and daily life of the Maasai people. It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community, witness traditional dances, and even explore a traditional manyatta.

The journey continues through the picturesque Rift Valley landscapes, with optional photo stops at scenic viewpoints along the way.
