Kigali pick up and Kigali Genocide memorial and Banana Beer experience

After your breakfast, our tour guide will meets and greets you at your hotel in Kigali. You will visit the Kigali Genocide Museum to pay your last respects to victims of the 1994 Rwanda Genocide against Tutsi before leaving the lively capital. You will drive north-west through lush hills and bustling market towns for approximately 2.5 hours, to the stunning Volcanoes National Park—well known as the venue for Dian Fossey's pioneering studies of the mountain gorillas.

Later after check-in, we will go on evening for a Banana beer experience. This will allow you to immerse in the the Rwandan culture while learning how to process Banana beer, a famous Rwanda beer, from banana plant to a glass of beer.
After this, you will return back to your hotel.

Golden monkey trek and transfer to Uganda

After your breakfast, we will have 15min car drive to Kinigi Park headquarters for a golden monkey tracking briefing. Then, you will hike up into the rainforest to a group of golden monkeys. Once you find the Monkeys, you’re allowed to stay with them for an hour. After the day experience, you will transfer to Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Your overnight stay will be at Travellers Rest Hotel.

Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

After your breakfast, transfer to the ranger station for Uganda Gorilla Trekking Briefing on dos and don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas, afterwards you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide & hike into the forest in search of gorillas. Once you find them you usually have an hour with them, time to sit and observe them at very close quarters of 10 meters & After the experience transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Resort or similar.
