Transfer Arusha town – Arusha Park: 40 minutes

Schedule of the Day: A Heart of Africa Safari Tours guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel and drive you to Arusha National Park, a short 40-minute journey from Arusha city, with a packed lunch provided. After a game drive through the park, enjoy a guided walking safari with a park ranger for a deeper exploration.

Once a game drive is done you will be transferred back to Arusha town where you will stop for your relaxations, dinner and overnight stay at the lodge located near high way leading to Tarangire national park.

Arusha National Park is home to rare mammals like elephants, Cape buffalo, hippos, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. The park offers diverse landscapes, transitioning from open savanna to acacia scrub and lush rainforest, providing a rich wildlife and scenic experience.

Schedule of the Day: Your safari guide will pick you up from the lodge and drive you to Tarangire National Park, a 2.5-hour journey on well-maintained tarmac roads. Named after the Tarangire River, the park serves as the only water source for wildlife during the dry season. It is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen near the river, and is also home to giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are frequently followed by predators like lions and leopards.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park during your game drive, afterward, you'll head to your accommodation in Karatu village for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Schedule of the Day: Begin your day with an early breakfast before your safari guide picks you up for a game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. With lunch boxes provided, explore the crater floor in search of wildlife. After the drive, return to the lodge for leisure, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater, formed 2–3 million years ago by a volcanic collapse, offers a dramatic landscape of sparkling lakes, marshes, acacia forests, and vast savannahs beneath towering cliffs. This natural wonder is home to one of Africa’s densest concentrations of large mammals, including zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles, along with over 500 bird species.

The crater also provides one of the best chances to spot the endangered black rhino in the wild.
