Schedule of the Day: Your day begins with a pickup by a Heart of Africa Safaris representative from the airport or your hotel/lodge, followed by a two-and-a-half-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, the park serves as a vital water source during the dry season and is known for its large elephant herds. You may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, and predators like lions and leopards. Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic spot.
After the game drive, you'll head to your lodge in Karatu for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Schedule of the day: Begin your day with an early breakfast before your safari guide picks you up for a cultural tour to Lake Eyasi. This area is home to the Hadzabe, East Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherers, whose way of life has remained unchanged for over 10,000 years. Nearby, you'll also meet the Datoga people, skilled metalworkers and farmers with cultural similarities to the Maasai. The lake’s shallow, salty waters attract various birds including flamingos, weavers, and storks.
After exploring, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Schedule of the day: Start your day with an early breakfast before your safari guide takes you on a thrilling game drive into the Ngorongoro Crater, with packed lunches for the journey. This unique landscape, resembling a lost world, features glistening lakes, wetlands, acacia forests, and expansive savannahs enclosed by towering volcanic walls. Formed two to three million years ago, the Crater is a geological wonder and home to vast herds of large mammals. At the Crater floor, you'll encounter over 500 bird species, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeests. The area also offers one of the best chances to spot the endangered black rhino.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Schedule of the day: Start your day with an early breakfast before your safari guide picks you up from your accommodation for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, with lunch boxes provided. This small yet diverse park is famous for its dramatic scenery, including the towering Great Rift Escarpment and the shallow salt Lake Manyara, home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 bird species. Despite its narrow size, the park supports a rich variety of wildlife. Look out for baboons, elephants, and the famous tree-climbing lions in the dense evergreen forest.
After the game drive, you’ll be transferred to Arusha or the airport, marking the end of your safari adventure.
