Karatu To Ngorongoro Crater

Transfer Karatu – Ngorongoro: 2 hours

Schedule of the day: After an early breakfast, we depart for the Ngorongoro Crater often described as a lost world. Formed 2–3 million years ago by the collapse of a massive volcano, the crater is now home to one of the highest concentrations of large mammals in Africa. As we descend into the crater, you'll be surrounded by diverse wildlife, including zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, and over 500 bird species. The crater is also one of the best places to spot large lion prides and the endangered black rhino, which can occasionally be seen in the open grasslands.

After an unforgettable game drive and picnic lunch within the crater, we continue our journey to Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before dinner and an

Serengeti NP To Karatu Village

Transfer Serengeti_Karatu; 3 hrs

Schedule of the day: At around 6:30 am, we will start our game viewing drive after enjoying an early breakfast. We will have six to seven hours to spend exploring this amazing park. Although the Serengeti is home to a wide variety of animals, including hippo, buffalo, crocodiles, and impala, it is most known for its massive migratory herds of antelope (half a million), wildebeest (one and a half million), and zebras (two hundred and fifty thousand). Rainfall determines the animals' journey, which changes every year. In addition to the migratory herds, we might witness lions, cheetahs, and leopards going about their savage business.

We return to Karatu at about 14:00, where we find our well-chosen mid-range partner lodge for dinner in a beautifully furnished restaurant with a pool for relaxation if you would like, a digestif by the fire beneath the endless African sky, and spacious quarters waiting for you for a restful night and wild cat dreams.

Main Destination:
Serengeti National Park
Best Time To Visit January to February and June to October (Different areas are best at different times)
