Airport/Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Transfer Arusha – Tarangire: 2 hours

Schedule of the day: Our representative safari guide will collect you from the Airport or hotel/Lodge and transport you to Tarangire National Park. This driving time is roughly two and a half hours on well-maintained tarmac roads. The Park gets its name from the Tarangire River that flows within its boundaries. This 'river of warthogs' serves as the sole water source for wildlife in the area during the dry months.

The Park is famous for its herds of elephants, which are frequently spotted gathering near the river. In addition, you might encounter giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These creatures are closely monitored by various predators, such as lions and leopards. Lunch will be served at a picnic area inside the Park.

Once your game drive concludes, you will be taken to your lodging situated in Karatu village where we will pause for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
