Our adventure begins early with breakfast, followed by an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park, home to around 500 chimps. Before venturing into the forest, our guides brief us on the trekking procedures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. As we trek through the jungle, our knowledgeable guides share fascinating insights about the chimps, other primates, and the local flora and fauna. The dense jungles of Kibale offer a unique opportunity to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat, particularly feeding on fig tree fruits. With the chimps habituated to humans since 1992, we're in for an unforgettable encounter. After exploring the 795sq km park, rich in equatorial rainforest and teeming with forest wildlife, we'll head south to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
