Arrival in Arusha

Meet and greet on arrival at the airport and transfer you to Arusha for an overnight stay. An hour drives from the airport to your lodge. If early arrival you may opt to add either of the following extra activities: Lake Duluti canoeing, coffee tour, village visit, town tour or any other activity of your preference. (Extra activity charges apply and will be quoted separately if need be). Check in at Planet Lodge base on bed and breakfast.
All meals on this day will be payable directly.

Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, meet your driver and depart to Lake Manyara National park for game drive. The park is small but it is diverse in ecosystem with huge variety of animal and bird life. It is rightly famous for its tree climbing lions and boisterous baboons. Afternoon drive to Karatu and stay at Eileen's Trees Inn for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, visit Mto WA mbu for various local activities and interact with local people, visit of Boma (enclosure), learn about bead-work with the revered women. Enjoy the local dancing too, the local lunch at African restaurant. Afternoon return to Tarangire, check in at Lake Burunge Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Arusha

After breakfast you will do game drive in Tarangire national park. Being in Tarangire you will have a chance to see the groups of big elephants. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of acacia woodland and giant Africa Baobab trees with huge swamps areas in the south. Both river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals during dry season. Take your time for photograph. After a well day game drive you will drive back to Arusha and being transferred to the airport for your departure.
