Day 2

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch in hand, ready for a full day of game viewing. Known for having one of the world’s highest concentrations of elephants and a rich diversity of birdlife especially during breeding season Tarangire comes alive during the dry months. Expect to encounter large predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with rare species such as kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. Massive herds of gazelles, zebras, and wildebeests gather along the Tarangire River, attracting hunters in a dramatic display of nature.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

This morning, you’ll journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park, with a cultural stop en route at a traditional Maasai village to experience the rich heritage of this iconic warrior tribe. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, enjoy a picnic lunch before embarking on an exciting game drive across its endless plains.

If visiting between May and July, you’ll witness a dramatic stage of the Great Migration, as massive herds of wildebeests cross the Grumeti River, braving powerful currents and lurking crocodiles—only to face predators like lions on the other side. After breakfast, your safari guide will meet you at your accommodation to begin your journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Though compact in size, this park is incredibly diverse, named after the shallow soda lake that expands and contracts with the seasons. The lake attracts thousands of flamingos and over 500 species of birds, making it a paradise for bird lovers.

As you explore, you’ll encounter monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, elephants, and, if you're lucky, the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. The scenery is equally captivating, with open plains, lush woodlands, and dramatic cliffs dotted with ancient baobab trees.
