Day 1

After your early breakfast, you will be picked up by our driver/ guide and you will drive south to the jungle of Kibale National Park, best known as the primate capital of the world with about 13 species of primates. You will have lunch along the way in Fort Portal City. You can choose to relax at the lodge or take a guided walk in the community after the long drive.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early enough, have breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by one of the park staff, you will be assigned a guide who will lead you into the forest to begin your chimpanzee trekking experience. Kibale is renowned for its population of chimpanzees, and this trek offers a unique opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat.
After a day of trekking, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll check in at your accommodation. Afterwards, you will head to the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat safari. The Kazinga Channel is a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George, which are both renowned for their rich diversity. During the boat safari, you can expect to see hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, and numerous bird species, including African fish eagles and kingfishers. Proceed with an late afternoon game drive before you go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Having had breakfast, you will then travel to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP, famously known for tree-climbing lions frequently seen in the area. The chance of spotting these lions stands at about 50%, but sometimes they are hard to spot (most especially when they are down in the grassland looking for prey). Should you get to spot them up in the tree, the sight is picturesque and memorable. From Ishasha, you'll proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This journey is so interesting as you get to enjoy the scenic view of the highlands of the great Kigezi region. You'll arrive in the evening and then check into your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4

After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger/ guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored.
Return to your lodge. Have your lunch and thereafter check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m) but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day.

Day 5
Transfer back to Entebbe
Transfer back to Entebbe
You will have a relaxed breakfast then you may opt to enjoy a swim in the lake before you set off on the journey to Entebbe. Else, embark on your return journey to Entebbe Airport or accommodation of your booking. Expect en-route stopovers in Mbarara town for lunch and the Uganda Equator line mark in Kayabwe for some memorable photos (if you didn’t stop on the first day) and maybe buying some art pieces of interest. Proceed with the journey arriving late afternoon/evening for drop off at the airport or accommodation of your booking.
