Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive southward to Amboseli National Park, a journey of approximately 4 to 5 hours. As you leave behind the urban bustle, the landscape transforms into open plains and traditional Maasai homesteads. You'll arrive at your lodge or camp in Amboseli in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you’ll head out on your first game drive, where you’ll be introduced to Amboseli’s iconic wildlife—especially its famous herds of free-roaming elephants. With any luck, the skies will be clear, revealing the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background. After the drive, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you’ll set out for a full day of exploration in Amboseli. The morning is ideal for spotting predators like lions or cheetahs while the temperatures are still cool. As the sun rises, the park comes alive with the movement of elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and various antelope species. You’ll visit Observation Hill for panoramic views over the marshes and plains, and perhaps enjoy a picnic lunch out in the wild. The swamps of Amboseli, fed by underground springs from Mount Kilimanjaro, attract an abundance of birdlife and wildlife, making for incredible photography opportunities. Your evening ends with dinner and a peaceful night back at your camp or lodge.

Day 3

Today begins early with breakfast and check-out, followed by a long but beautiful drive toward Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey takes approximately 7 to 8 hours, passing through Nairobi and ascending into the scenic Rift Valley. You’ll stop for lunch en route and take in some dramatic views of the escarpment. As you approach Nakuru, the terrain changes again—rolling hills, farmlands, and eventually the acacia woodlands that surround the park. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, you’ll check in to your lodge. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos and as a sanctuary for endangered rhinos, so keep your camera ready.

The lake itself often shimmers with thousands of flamingos and other bird species, creating a colorful spectacle. You may stop for a picnic lunch at Baboon Cliff, which offers panoramic views over the lake and surrounding landscape. After a rewarding day of game drives and birdwatching, you’ll return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Following breakfast, you'll check out and begin your journey to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes approximately 3 to 4 hours, passing through Narok, the vibrant center of Maasai culture. As you enter the Mara region, the landscape opens into vast grasslands dotted with acacia trees and grazing wildlife. Upon arrival at your lodge or camp, you’ll have lunch and some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. This initial glimpse of the Mara introduces you to its rich ecosystem—expect sightings of elephants, antelope herds, giraffes, and possibly lions or cheetahs preparing for an evening hunt. After sunset, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Masai Mara in depth. After an early breakfast, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive, carrying packed lunch so you can venture farther into the reserve. The Mara is known for its high concentration of big cats and the famous Big Five-lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. If you're traveling during the Great Migration season (typically July to October), you may witness dramatic river crossings as wildebeest and zebras move in vast numbers across the plains. Your guide will help you track the wildlife and navigate different sections of the park for varied experiences. After an action-packed day in the wild, you’ll return to your lodge for a final night under the Mara skies.

You'll arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your onward journey, bringing an end to a spectacular Kenyan safari experience.
