Day 1

Golden monkey tracking begins with a morning briefing at the park offices around 7:30 am. To get there, we'll pick you up from your hotel or residence in Kigali at 4:30 am and drive to Volcanoes National Park. After the briefing, you can hire a porter if needed and head to the starting point. The trek is relatively short, lasting about an hour, and less demanding than gorilla trekking. Once complete, we'll return to the starting point and transfer you back to Kigali city, dropping you off at your hotel or the airport in the afternoon.
