Each year, over a million wildebeest and around 200,000 zebras make their way from the northern hills to the southern plains in search of fresh grazing, following the short rains of October and November. After a delicious breakfast, begin your journey with a game drive through the Serengeti as you make your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once you arrive, descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for a half-day game drive. This remarkable ecosystem is teeming with wildlife, offering the chance to spot black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, and more in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, you'll ascend to the crater rim and continue to Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp, your charming retreat for the evening, set amidst the lush highlands for a peaceful overnight stay.

Spend a full day immersed in the stunning landscapes and rich wildlife of Tarangire National Park. Begin with an early morning game drive, venturing into the park's diverse terrain of acacia woodlands, baobab-dotted hills, and seasonal swamps. These swamps become a magnet for both predators and prey, offering incredible wildlife viewing opportunities.

Keep your eyes peeled for the park’s famous elephant herds, often seen near the Tarangire River—a vital water source during the dry season. As you explore, you may also encounter lions, leopards, and even the elusive cheetah, as they move through the park in search of food and shade.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing with an afternoon game drive, when the light softens and animals become more active again. As the sun sets, return to Ang’ata Tarangire Camp for a relaxing evening under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.
