Journey westward to the renowned Mabamba Swamp, a birder’s paradise nestled along the shores of Lake Victoria. Here, hop into a traditional canoe and glide through the papyrus-lined channels as you search for the iconic Shoebill Stork, a rare and prehistoric-looking bird that draws enthusiasts from around the world.
After your birding excursion, continue to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary—the only place in Uganda where you can find wild rhinos. This pioneering conservation project has successfully reintroduced the Southern White Rhino, with over 40 individuals now roaming freely.
