Day 2

Today you'll have a full day spent exploring the park in search of the Big Five. You will experience full day game drive morning and afternoon and have picnic lunch around lunchtime in the park.. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the mara sopa lodge. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture.

After early breakfast there is option visit to a Maasai village and get to learn their customs and culture. Afterward, depart to Nakuru with a picnic lunch on the way arriving in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay at Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

After an early breakfast at 6.30 a.m., proceed to the park, where you will view many flamingos and other birds [approximately 350 species documented]. This is also the home of the black and white rhinoceros. The park was also developed to safeguard endangered species like rhinoceros. It is home to Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and plain antelopes. Afterward, depart for Nairobi, where you will arrive in the afternoon.
