Your driver guide from Safari Vacations and Travel Services will meet you either at the hotel or the airport in Kigali. After meeting and greeting, you will embark on a journey to Volcanoes National Park. You may pass by the Kigali Genocide Memorial for an insight into Rwanda's past. Upon arrival, you'll check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

On this day, you will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and head to Volcanoes National Park headquarters. You'll undergo a briefing about golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park. You'll then head to the forest where you'll find them playing in the tree branches or the potato fields. After an hour, you'll head back to the lodge for lunch and then cross the Rwanda-Uganda border as you head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 3

On this day, you'll wake up early in the morning for breakfast. After that, you'll drive to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for a briefing about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking. You'll then be divided into groups of 8 to track a gorilla family. You'll be led to the forest in search of these gentle giants, and after finding them, you'll spend an hour in their presence. Then, you'll return to the starting point to board your vehicle and head to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful places in Uganda. The lava-dammed lake is dotted with 29 islands, offering scenic views. Upon arrival, you'll check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

You'll set off early in the morning and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll embark on an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, where you'll witness the highest concentration of hippos in the world. You'll also see other animals like crocodiles, buffalo, elephants, warthogs, and many others, which come to quench their thirst. You'll relax for a bit and have lunch, after which you'll head to the savannah plains for an evening game drive. You'll see many animals like buffalo, elephants, waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, antelopes, leopards, lions, hyenas, and many others, plus several bird species. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

You'll head out to the savannah plains after breakfast to see more animals, some of which you might have missed to see the day before. You'll then embark on a journey to the Chimpanzee capital, Kibale National Park. You'll have lunch at the park headquarters and then drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. You'll then form groups and head to the forest in search of the chimpanzees. After finding them, you'll spend an hour in their presence and then head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Your driver-guide from Safari Vacations and Travel Services will say goodbye, and this will mark the end of the 6-day Volcanoes, Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi, Queen Elizabeth, and Kibale National Park safari.
